At DCM Shriram, we manufacture products that contribute to the competitiveness of India's industrial economy.
This includes Caustic Soda, Chlorine and Hydrogen that are produced at our integrated Kota Plant in Rajasthan and Bharuch Plant in Gujarat. We have a combined Chlor Alkali production capacity of 6.75 Lakh TPA, and are in the process of substantial expansion.
Caustic Soda (Sodium Hydroxide) is a basic product very widely used in diverse industrial sectors, either as a raw material or as an auxiliary chemical. It is mainly used in the manufacture of pulp and paper, newsprint, viscose yarn, staple fiber, aluminium, cotton, textiles, toilet and laundry soaps, detergents, dyestuffs, drugs and pharmaceuticals, vanaspati and petroleum refining. Caustic soda is produced in two forms - lye and solids. Solids can be in the form of flakes.
Our wide portfolio of PVC products play an important role in improving the performance of a broad range of industries. We manufacture 1,12,000 TPA Calcium Carbide that is of captive use for the production of PVC Resins, and it is also sold in the market to industrial users.

Our product portfolio includes multiple grades of PVC Resins to the tune of 77,000 TPA produced at the integrated manufacturing complex in Kota. It caters to a wide array of end-use markets. The PVC Resins are manufactured through the Calcium Carbide route that insulates us from the cost-cycles routinely associated with the petrochemicals based production of other manufacturers.
